I've seen it in black only.
A circle with a triangle inside? Triangle is point up. Nothing else.
I have seen it on building with nothing else to explain, now I have seen it as a tattoo.

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, February 24, 2006 - 7:56 PMAA = Alcoholics Anonymous
It also has many occult meanings & interpretations. Father Son Holy Ghost in a perfect circle. - God / Satan / Man. - Pyramid power. There can be a dot in the middle representing Lucifer. An all seeing eye. The list could get pretty long of who uses it. If I saw it on a building I would automatically assume it's a Masonic Temple but there would probably be may other symbols on the building as well.
If your circle stays unbroken then youre a lucky man cuz it never has for me. In the palace of the virgin lies the chalice of the soul. And it's likely you might find the answer there. -

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, February 24, 2006 - 8:01 PMAlso the pink triangle us gays use points down as we are still struggling for equal rights. Supposedly when we have equal rights our pink triangle will point up. It symbolizes what is right correct & just. It symbolizes perfection, purity, truth, etc......Many different things. I'm not an Egyptologist but it meant alot to The Egyptians too. -

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, February 24, 2006 - 8:05 PMAnd whats with that triangle by the barcode on a lot of books... people have told me all kinds of crazy shit regarding that.. but when I keep track of the various books its on, it never seems to be anything consistant that determines the triangle..
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Tue, February 28, 2006 - 9:11 AMPink triangle is gay men, not necessarily about gay rights, though.
The triangles come from nazi germany where they were used to classify socially undesirables. The black triangle was for lesbians, prostitutes, and sexual deviants (SM). The black triangle shows up some too, but not nearly as much as the pink one. And the lesbians get pretty pissed off if anyone other than a lesbian attempts to use it. I wore one for a while, but it was just too much work trying to explain it and to defend myself to all the dykes.

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, February 24, 2006 - 8:03 PMNope, where I've seen it was definitely not masonic.
I'd suspected AA, but was not sure. -

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, February 24, 2006 - 8:26 PMZigo funny I never noticed the triangle next to the barcode before. I'm really interested in the UPC and surprised I havent. Maybe I read something about it before but nothing I can remember. Funny on my desk in front of me is sitting a Robert Anton Wilson book with a picture of the eye in the triangle on the cover. It's called "Everything Is Under Control - Conspiracies, Cults. and Cover-ups" I just turned it over to look at the barcode & yep, there is a triangle just to the right of it. Supposedley the two thin bars on the left center and right have invisible numbers under them. Three sixes. -

Thu, March 2, 2006 - 9:59 AMThe triangle within a circle is the sign of Jabuhlon. The secret name of "God" to the Freemasons. If you would like to see more download my interview with Texe Marrs

I have a conspiracy talk show in Austin called the Freeman Perspective. I have created documentaries on corporate logos and their occultic/masonic meanings. I also have a film on the goddess Columbia. You can check out clips and read my findings at

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Sun, April 2, 2006 - 12:40 PMyep, friends of bill w might wear this:
www.markdefrates.com/pages/aa.html
this symbol was also used in both WWI and WWII for civil defense. sometimes with "CD" inside it and sometimes just the triangle in a circle. my grandfather had a helmet with this symbol on it, and i remember you used to see them painted on old building that had air-raid shelters.
inverted triangles were used to label homosexuals and other "anti-social criminals" by the Nazis
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi...amp_badges
a fun game for me, how many labels can they give me? which colorful badge (or how many) would i get to wear? -

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Thu, April 13, 2006 - 8:16 PMNow I've seen it on a bumper sticker.
I'll have to ask someone what their sticker, or sign means, or represents.

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, April 14, 2006 - 10:35 AMA downward triangle is also the middle of an inverted pentagram. The Temple of Set uses that symbol. William Cooper had a lot to say about them and our government has done buisness with them concerning our military and mind control. The upright triangle represents the capstone and also archetypical saviors. Jesus was the capstone according to the book of acts, Horus was referred to as the capstone as well. -
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, April 14, 2006 - 12:55 PMum ...
isn't the middle of an inverted pentagram a PENTAGON? -
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, April 14, 2006 - 12:59 PMp.s.
Only in the NIV is Jesus referred to as a 'capstone'.
i believe it is supposed to be 'cornerstone'.
quite a difference there.
one is the root ... one is the fruit.
to me, yeah, it's all the same building - but who wants to live in the basement when there's plenty of other nice rooms?
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, April 14, 2006 - 4:33 PMYes. Its the inverted triangle a pentagram stands on top of. So i guess you could say its the "balance". -
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Fri, April 14, 2006 - 4:41 PMThe bible has been mistranslated, and the point is that there is a trend in all messianic religions. Do you know why jesus was the cornerstone? Because beleif and fear of him keeps everything under control. You can nitpick at others all you want, but if you beileve you will have a mansion through jesus and not through your own evolution you are blind. Also its disheatening to see people getting together just to fight. What a waste of time. -
-
This is the maximum depth. Additional responses will not be threaded.
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Mon, April 17, 2006 - 7:26 AMhuh.
i didn't realise i was 'nitpicking' .. simply pointing out something that wasn't correct.
you assume that those are MY beliefs. again, just pointing out something that was incorrect.
and if it's disheartening to 'fight' (read:disagree) then why post at all? should we all just swallow whatever is posted like good little robots? or are we allowed to analyse and critique?
i don't think i 'nitpicked'. i didn't even crack on your spelling! i don't think you even took the time to read and understand my post before you fired off your response.
fact is, paranoids like you give vampires like them a power base.
have fun. -

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Mon, April 17, 2006 - 2:31 PM"and if it's disheartening to 'fight' (read:disagree) then why post at all? " So you admit you only post to argue. Whos the vampire? You are so damn smart. Thats why you have to argue on tribe all day long. I have no grudge with you and i never expected you to "Be a Robot." I was having a bad day, and i shouldnt have posted the second comment at all, but for you to try to perpetuate another problem now with personal attacks on my charecter is wrong. I wont do the same. -
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Tue, April 18, 2006 - 6:21 AMsweetie ... get the meds.
i never admitted that i post ONLY to argue. your reading comprehension is leading you to incorrect conclusions.
show me where i attacked you.
jeez.
if you can't interact with people without being so damaged maybe posting isn't a good idea. a sense of humor helps.
i hope your week gets better.
peace

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Sun, June 4, 2006 - 8:07 PMI've figured it out that the symbol I keep seeing is used by AA or Al Anon, Just in case these are two separate groups. I'll post a web site in a moment that shows the symbol. -
-
Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Sun, June 4, 2006 - 8:12 PMgo see aahistory.com/prayer.html or just aahistory.com
It is on both. I'd seen signs without the AA inside the triangle, and I'd suspected it was them. I just wanted confirmation.

Re: Who uses this symbol?????
Mon, June 19, 2006 - 10:13 PMI knew when I clicked on this thread which symbol it was.
I asked myself this same question 14 years ago, and it has been a twisted trail, and I do not have an answer yet.
I suggest this: Study the following topics in depth:
Semiotics
Rosicrucionism
Music-color Theory.
My two cents

Re: Who uses this symbol?????

30:22 ยท A triangle within a circle is not so common in modern ideography as in earlier times. See, for example, 2411, which represented the elements in an alchemical context, and 3009a as a symbol for the Christian idea of three-in-one, the Holy Trinity.
Compare with 2637a and 3019, both of which denote the Holy Trinity, and with 3009b, feu de roiie, which was perhaps some kind of fire oven in the seventeenth century.
According to Diderot's Encyclopedia 3009a meant both feu de Roue and coral.
In modern ideography we find this structure turned 180 degres to 3056 used as a road sign, on office machines, and on household appliances to mean stop.
Many modern homosexuals utilize this symbol to communicate their type of sexuality to others. This sign can be seen on bumber stickers, key chains, jewelry and many other personal items.
